Makerspace Summer Market
A vibrant celebration of ceramics and print!

A local craft market filled with ceramics and prints made by members of Colchester Makerspace.

Friday 23rd August, 6pm - 9pm
and
Saturday 24th August, 10am - 4pm

Join us for two days filled with creativity, craftsmanship, and artistic wonders hosted in partnership with our neighbours, the plant-led fully vegetarian restaurant Patch .This unique event brings together talented artisans, makers, and designers from our studio, showcasing their exceptional skills and exquisite creations.

On Friday we will be hosting a Night Market 6pm - 9pm with stalls, a bar and music followed by a daytime market on Saturday from 10am - 4pm with stalls, food and drink available from our friends Patch.

Ceramics:
Get ready to explore a diverse range of ceramic artistry! Talented ceramicists will present their handcrafted masterpieces, ranging from functional pottery to stunning sculptural pieces. Discover delicate porcelain creations, rustic stoneware, vibrant earthenware, and everything in between. Engage with the artists, learn about their techniques, and even find that perfect ceramic piece to take home.

Print:
Immerse yourself in the world of printmaking as you peruse the impressive display of prints. Talented printmakers will exhibit their works, showcasing various techniques such as linocut, screen printing, etching, and more. Explore a kaleidoscope of artistic styles, from intricate black and white designs to colourful and abstract compositions. Whether you're a print enthusiast or simply curious about this captivating art form, the Maker's Market will provide an ideal opportunity to appreciate and acquire unique prints.

Entry is free and you can just turn up on the day. Register in advance for either day (via eventbrite) and attend to be entered in a free prize draw to win a £50 voucher
