Learn to throw a ceramic pot with Sam Elston. Ideal for those who want to master the skill or simply give throwing a try.

The Art of Raku

A two-day class in partnership with Cuckoo Farm Studios including hand-building, glazing and communal raku firings.

Pot Throwing Masterclass

Neville Tatham teaches advanced techniques such as production and large scale throwing, joining composite thrown pieces, throwing off the hump and making complicated forms like teapots, lidded vessels and enclosed/bottle forms.

Hand-building Techniques

Work with clay by hand using only simple tools. Explore everything from hand-built, coiling to pinchpots  and slab techniques with Harriet Caslin


Use old school cut and paste methods to design, produce and ‘copy’ a limited edition riso print with vivid colours and stunning imperfections


Introduction to Kiln Firing

This is a short 2-part class to introduce the technical aspects of firing ceramics. For both beginners and more experienced makers alike.
